We Are LuckyDecember 2024
The piece is a study of intergenerational, collective luck and was performed at my first solo exhibition where attendees were asked to bring gold, red, or green items which were strung onto hanging frames. The piece was made for Introduction to Sculpture: Woodworking. I could not have created, ideated, performed, or installed this work without the kind words and generous conversation of Professor Sae Jun Kim.

A sculpture installed on the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th floors of 36 Edgewood: round wooden frames with diameters in multiples of 3 and heights of 5’8, 5’6, and 5’11, woven with thread and decorated with ‘lucky’ objects belonging to friends, aquantances, and strangers.
